Perfect bound books can come in multiple styles, saddle bound, softbound, and hardbound. Our softbound books are a middle ground book in terms of price and quality. A saddle bound book is going to be your least expensive option, but it won't look at great on a bookshelf as a hardbound book, which is the more expensive option. 

Soft Cover Books

Our soft cover books are a great way to compromise and get good quality for a great price. Our example here is one of our favorite projects that we do every year for Shaker. These soft cover books are created to showcase all the young artists hard work throughout the year. This also teaches them the process of how to send their art to a print shop and so they can display their work for whatever purpose they like!

 

We can always offer help with the design on your cover or the internal pages. We can also assist you in figuring out the spine width in case you want to put something on there, such as a title.

Lead times for a soft cover book will vary depending on the size of the order. An average lead time will be about two weeks. For small orders, a rush would be one week lead time. And for large quantities, you can expect a two to three week lead time.
