How Does Metal Plate Printing Work?
When we're making our plates for the offset presses, we have a big, expensive machine here that uses lasers and then burns an emulsion that's on top of the plate into the plates.
This is a relatively new product that we offer which came about as Michael was scrolling on Instagram. He came across a piece of artwork for sale that was an elevated map of Ohio. The price was $800.
Instead of buying, Michael decided to make one himself!
