Dave Badolato is another one of our great desktop publishing team members here at Foote Printing.
Ever since he was a little kid, he loved the idea of drawing and creating art. Dave says that he got into drawing because his dad was in the industry. He would spend time with his father in the drawing-room creating hockey players and airplanes, and eventually, it ended up becoming his passion.
Dave has a fine arts background as he would commission portraits ever since he was a sophomore in high school.
For school projects, he would create book covers and things like that by hand. He says this gave him a better for how much technology helps in his line of work.
After high school, Dave joined the Marines for a few years before he went back to school for graphic design. After he graduated, he gained experience working a few jobs, such as ad creation for a newspaper.
Dave joined our team in 2013 and has become a valuable part of our team. Working with desktop publishing means you wear a lot of hats, from graphic design to prepress to client communication and more.
